The Mountain’s Edge Regional Park sits in the heart of the Mountains Edge master-planned community. With 250 acres of land available, the park’s first two phases totaling 41 acres are complete. A beautiful walking trail takes advantage of the natural desert landscaping in the remainder.

Phase one of Mountain’s Edge Regional Park includes a sports practice and recreation area with walls designed for:

  • Basketball
  • Football
  • Baseball
  • Hockey
  • Handball
  • Tennis
  • Field Hockey
  • Soccer
  • Lacrosse

A shuffleboard and traditional basketball half-court are also available.

Aside from the sports area, Mountains Edge Regional Park has much to offer, including a more casual trail than its sister park, Exploration Park. A paved trail, , weaves 2.3 miles throughout the 250-acre parcels natural desert landscape. The path is relatively flat with a small elevation gain of 78 feet.

As you pull into the parking lot it’s impossible to miss the 30-foot-tall climbing rings. With more playground sections, kids have swings, more jungle gym equipment, and a miniature play town for the younger kids.

The two large picnic facilities, Tortoise and Hare, separate the playground from the fitness area. Anyone can get a workout in with the park’s workout machines, like the elliptical.

Each picnic facility can accommodate a party of 150 guests. For residents of the community, the cost is $75, with commercial pricing doubling to $150. The areas are available daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, with no reservations required on holidays.
