In 2000, construction began on the third section of the 215 Beltway. This section extended the beltway from Tropicana through Summerlin, spurring the development of Summerlin West.
Summerlin West sits West of the 215 beltway and North of Charleston. Its further point North ends at Cheyenne at the Reverence Village.
Today, Summerlin West is Summerlin’s most actively developed neighborhood, with homes under construction in Stonebridge, Redpoint, Redpoint Square, Kestrel, and Kestrel Commons.
Summerlin West has four primary villages, 12 neighborhood districts, and over 5,000 acres of remaining developable space.
The new neighborhoods offer the highest number of affordable homes with smaller and attached options for first-time homebuyers.
The Villages of Summerlin West
The Vistas, the first village of Summerlin West, began construction in 2000. Twenty years later, Summerlin West is expanding rapidly, with developments becoming ever-closer to Red Rock Canyon.

The Vistas
The Vistas is the first development of Summerlin West, with development commencing in 2000. Positioned between Far Hills and Charleston and the 215 beltway and Desert Foothills, The Vistas location offers elevated views and easy access to existing Summerlin amenities in Summerlin North and South.
The Vistas offers three parks:
- The Vistas Community Park is a 24.3-acre park with lighted fields and courts for football, baseball, softball, tennis, and basketball. The park has picnic pavilions and playgrounds for children. It’s also home to the Vistas Community Center.
- North Tower Park is a 7-acre park with open fields, picnic areas, and playgrounds.
- South Tower Park is a 7-acre park with open fields, picnic areas, and playgrounds.
Distinct 48-foot clock towers mark the North and South tower parks.
The Vistas Community Center
The 12,000-square-foot Vistas Community Center provides a fun meeting and activity place for residents of The Vistas. Opening in 2016, the features of The Vistas Community Center include:
- 5,500 square foot outdoor pool with slides
- Children’s lagoon with water features
- Meeting rooms
- Kitchen
The Vista Commons shopping center is 13 acres anchored by an Albertson’s grocery store.
Linda Givens Elementary School is located inside the Vistas.
The Paseos
The 768-acre Paseos village sits West of The Vistas. Construction on the development commenced in 2003, adding additional single and multi-family neighborhoods to Summerlin West.
The Paseos has two parks:
- The Paseos Park is a 12.5-acre park with sand volleyball, basketball, a playground, a motorized toy area, picnic pavilions, open turf areas, and junior soccer and tee-ball fields.
- Fox Hill Park opened in December 2017 and introduced an adventure and climbing theme to Summerlin West Parks. Fox Hill Park offers disc golf, slides, zip lines, and a climbing playground. All with amazing views of the Las Vegas Valley and The Strip.
Fox Hill Park is adjacent to Billy and Rosemary Vassiliadis Elementary School.
Reverence by Pulte Homes
Reverence is a 300-acre village in the Northernmost part of Summerlin West. Developed exclusively by Pulte Homes, Reverence offers 23 unique floorplans throughout six communities.
The community opened on June 10, 2017.
The Clubhouse at Reverence community center is the crown jewel of the community. The award-winning 16,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor community center offers a 3,000-square-foot resort pool with beach entry, a 1,600-square-foot lap pool, an 800-square-foot spa, a fitness center, pickleball courts, ping pong, billiards, a kitchen, and aerobic and yoga classes.
Adjacent to the community center is Reverence Park, an 8-acre community park. The park offers lighted soccer fields, tennis courts, and a basketball court, with shaded picnic areas, a playground, and grass fields.
The regional bike trail connects to the park.
The award-winning entrance to Reverence sits on Lake Mead Blvd West of the 215 beltway.
Stonebridge
The last turn before driving to Red Rock Canyon, Stonebridge sits West of The Paseos off Charleston Blvd.
The 502-acre residential village will have 11 neighborhoods when completed, each with a Prarie Highland design theme.
Stonebridge Park is a 10-acre community park with four pickleball courts, cornhole, a playground, basketball, picnic areas, and grass fields for multi-sport activities.
Stonebridge construction commenced in July 2017.
Redpoint and Kestrel: The new districts of Summerlin West
Summerlin introduced four new districts Redpoint, Redpoint Square, Kestrel, and Kestrel Commons. These districts will offer the most diverse residential options in Summerlin, with several smaller and attached homes designed for first-time homebuyers, Millennials, and retirees.
Redpoint and Redpoint Square districts will offer the following parks:
- Explorer Park a 0.93-acre park with a playground and shaded seating areas. The estimated completion is the end of 2023.
- Ridge Pine Park a 1.27-acre park with an adult exercise area, shaded seating, and a playground. (year-end 2022)
- Redpoint Arroyo is a 9-acre park with walking trails, picnic areas, exercise stations, a pedestrian bridge, and shaded seating in phase one, an added restroom, climbing structure, and parking lot in phase two, and a phase three with similar offerings to phase one. (mid-2023 to Q2 2024 completion)
- Redpoint Paseo is a 5.23-acre park with adult exercise stations, restrooms, a playground, and shaded seating.
Kestrel and Kestrel Commons parks will include:
- Bluebird Park is a 0.88-acre park with shaded seating and a playground. (year-end 2024)
- The Hub Park with a playground, restrooms, a bicycle challenge track, and shaded seating. (Early 2025)
- Kestrel Creek Arroyo is a 7.51-acre park with trails, a turf area, and shaded seating. (year-end 2024)

Downtown Summerlin
Downtown Summerlin is a mixed-use development off the 215 Beltway and Sahara Blvd. Spanning 400 acres, the mall is home to large and local retailers, restaurants, offices, and apartments.
Downtown Summerlin is home to events like ice skating in the winter and farmer’s markets for locals.

Las Vegas Ballpark and City National Arena
opened in August 2017 as a practice facility for the Vegas Golden Knights hockey team. It includes a second rink for public use.
City National Arena has a merchandise store and a restaurant. The Vegas Golden Knights practices are open to the public.
The opened in 2019 with a capacity of 10,000. The ballpark is home to the Triple-A baseball team the Las Vegas Aviators.
The Las Vegas Ballpark includes 22 suites, club seats, part zones and decks, kid’ zone, bars, and a pool. The premium club is 6,700 square feet.
