Spring Valley is a master-planned community turned unincorporated town in Clark County, Nevada. Pardee Homes built the original Spring Valley community over the site of the Stardust International Raceway after purchasing the land in 1970.
In 1981, Spring Valley residents banned together and petitioned the Clark County Commission to turn the one square mile Spring Valley into an unincorporated town. Today, the town of Spring Valley has an area of 33.4 square miles.
