Skye Canyon is a 1,700-acre master-planned community in the Northwest of Las Vegas, NV. Olympia Cos., the original developer of Skye Canyon, broke ground on the community in 2014. Olympia is best known for their development of Southern Highlands.
In September of 2020, acquired the remaining 400+ acres and assumed control of the Skye Canyon Master Association. Locally, Century Communities has overseen the development of Rhodes Ranch in the Southwest part of Las Vegas and Henderson’s Tuscany Village.
Many of the 6,500 homes slated for Skye Canyon are completed or under construction in 26 subdivisions. Each neighborhood is gated with a neighborhood park. Skye Canyon Location
Skye Canyon is in the far northwest of the Las Vegas Valley and the last community along the 95 freeway. The community is split between two zip codes, 89124 and 89166. Skye Canyon shares the 89124 zip code with Mount Charleston, the Desert National Wildlife Range, and the Paiute Golf Course, and the 89166 zip code with the Providence master-planned community and the north side of Mount Charleston.
Skye Canyon Amenities
As an outdoor living community with over 4,000 planted trees, Skye Canyon residents can enjoy miles of walking paths, bike lanes, four parks, and more planned. The communities largest park, Skye Canyon Park, is 15 acres with a fitness center, fireplaces and fire pits, a restaurant, a swimming pool, basketball, sports fields, locker rooms, and splash pads.

With four amazing parks to choose from, residents of Skye Canyon have access to two dog parks, two pickleball courts, a tennis court, two basketball courts, and acres of grass fields.

Skye Canyon Park: The 15-acre Skye Canyon Park is the largest Skye Canyon park and home to Skye Center, the communities clubhouse, and Skye Fitness, a 9,663 square-foot resident-only fitness center, and pool. Skye View Park: If you’re one of the millions of Americans who fell in love with Pickleball, the 2.1-acre Skye View Park has two popular pickleball courts and one tennis court.
